Here is my log of significant new features of Skype for Business Server 2015 that werent noted before (that I know off). I will update as I see new items.
Looks like a bit of new theming for Server Control Panel.

The November 2016 Skype for Business PC client update brings a new look and feel as announced on Technet. This is Interesting because at Microsoft Ignite I was noticing there seemed to be a shift in colors (black conversation windows, etc) and graphics being used in the Mac client and the new Skype Room Systems. It didnt take Microsoft as look as I expected to roll out a new look that, according to Technet, will do better at accessibility.
We will point out some items we have noticed as part of this new user interface.
This is a fairly large shift because it departs from the Skype logo color. (Also, the color seems reminiscent of Cisco colors, of all things!)
What the new switching between panels buttons look like.
And below are the Contact buttons
In the picture youll notice there are 2 missed calls. This used to be orange.
Also, the call control window button graphics have changed.
Using the Options button as an example:
Now a hover
I just noticed this panel shows My Number. Is this new?
I notice on my system when you click on Contacts the icon immediately goes from outline to solid color. When you click on Missed Conversations (or Meetings the icon does change to solid until you hover off the button.
Below Contacts icon turns from outline to solid as soon as you click it.
Clicking on Missed Conversations does not immediately turn solid, until you hover off the missed Conversations button.
Now when the mouse is hovered off the Missed Conversations it turns solid.
Seems a slight design issue.
Another slight item Ive noticed is the search border is still Lync 2013 blue, for whatever reason this never changes. In the transition from Lync to Skype for Business it didnt change either. Apparently this border color is immutable. Its not as noticeable now.
Here is Spark conversation window.
New Skype for Business
This is an interesting change of user interface. The Skype blue was quite garishly bright and some of the previous design was not very accessibility friendly.
Does this mean that the Skype logo color will change in the future as well?

You know whats awesome? Creating a Skype room so that a group of TechCrunch writers can work together and then being told by one or more writers that they cant see it. So you sit there and wonder: What? Why? Should it really be this hard to create a group? But hey, youre trying to cover a big, breaking news story, so you can only wonder for a few seconds. Then you just shrug, try to keep everyone clued in about whats happening in the room, and hope that a crucial piece of information doesnt get dropped while youre playing telephone.

So, yes, first off, havent we had this since Lync 2010 CU-whatever (Nov 2011) when we had to do all that mcx configuration whatchmajigger I thought that too, but in the last couple of Skype for Business Mobility clients, under the Settings Ive noticed this:
Push Notifications Status
Not Supported. Please contact your system admin for additional information on how to enable Push Notifications.
I went through everything on my Skype for Business 2015 CU-272 deployed system, and everything was set correctly and enabled, which really isnt much, Get-CsPushNotificationConfiguration, both MS and Apple are set to True. Even had the good old push.lync.com entry in Allowed SIP Federated Domains list. Yup, this environment has been around since at lease Lync 2010 days.
As most of you may already have noticed, CU-277 was released earlier this week, happened to be BC Family Day, only province/state in North America with a stat holiday, so everyone beat me to posting about it. Now, I may be the only fool who has deployed it already, twice actually, and so far positive results, or at least none negative.
One of the fixes/features in the February:
3209568 Add Push Notification support for Skype for Business for iOS and Android clients in Skype for Business Server 2015
With as much detail in the KB as the title there. I will try not to rant about the quality of the KBs on this round, hopefully they will be updated with useful information soon.
With CU-277, the Set-CsMobilityPolicy has a new line item: EnablePushNotifications which is set to True by default. Now Settings, under the Android 6.11.0.0 client version shows:
Push Notifications Status
Supported
Ive also been experimenting on how to disable it. Oddly enough, all my efforts thus far have been unsuccessful. Perhaps a service restart was necessary, but alas, back into production
